During Kentucky Derby weekend in Louisville, Backbeat designed and produced a custom projection mapping installation for the album release celebration of Jack Harlow. The event took place at Ice House Louisville and transformed the venue into a fully immersive visual environment using large-scale projection mapping and live-controlled motion graphics.
The goal of the project was to create a visual experience that matched the energy of the moment. Instead of relying on traditional LED screens or static stage visuals, the entire venue was turned into a dynamic canvas using architectural projection mapping. Walls, columns, and structural surfaces were mapped digitally and used as the foundation for custom motion graphics designed specifically for the event.
This approach allowed the visual design to extend beyond the stage and surround the audience, creating an immersive environment that moved with the music throughout the night.
